The charity Historic Royal Palaces undertook a £12 million project called "Welcome to Kensington – a place for everyone", they transformed and re-presented Kensington Palace
The charity wanted WildWorks to create a world for visitors to explore and to bring the "hidden stories of the historic royal residence dramatically to life"
Within Kensington Palace leading fashion designers collaborated with WildWorks artists to create installations. They took inspiration from Kensington Palace and the princesses who used to live there. Stories included "tales of love and hate, surprise and sadness, secrets and jealousy"
Each room in the State Apartments was dedicated to a particular installation, with visitors going into each room and seeing a different story. Installations ranged from dresses to sculptures to soundscape
